This atlas of York County, New Brunswick was first published in 1878 by H. E. Halfpenny et al. & Company. It provides an excellent record of the farmers and townspeople who lived in this large county and as individual building are marked, provides and invaluable for locating residences and places of business. It can be used in conjunction with the censuses of 1871 and 1881 to situate families geographically and identify their neighbours and local relationships.
